The Director General’s Office and Regional Offices

The organizational structure of the Dry Zone Greening Department covers its working area of 53 townships, 13 districts from Sagaing, Magway and Mandalay Regions. The Director General’s Office (the Headquarters) of the Dry Zone Greening Department was set up in Patheingyi Township; Mandalay Region on 18 September 1997.It is organized by Administrative Division, Planning Division, and Engineering Division. The Regional level DZGD offices have already been set up at Monywa (Sagaing region), Magway (Magway region) and Mandalay (Mandalay Region) respectively associated with respective District Offices and Township offices.The Districts and Townships organized under 3 Regions areas follows.
